Energy Rice Bowl with Beef and Asparagus Black Pepper Stir Fry (Gluten-Free)


(Serves 2)

1 cup Mekhala “Organic Energy Rice

1-2 tbsp cooking oil

5 tbsp Mekhala “All-Natural Black Pepper Sauce

300g Panorama Meat Company “Grass-Fed Beef Stir Fry”

1 Little Farms Produce “Capsicum Red”, stem & seeds removed, sliced

1 bunch Little Farms Produce “Asparagus”, cut into 4cm pieces


  1. Cook the Mekhala Organic Energy Rice according to packet instructions.

  2. Lightly season the beef with a pinch of salt, then set aside.

  3. Heat the oil in a wok (or large frypan) over high heat. When the oil is nice and hot, add the beef and stir-fry for 1 minute. Remove the browned meat with a slotted spoon and set aside.

  4. Add the asparagus and capsicum to the same wok and stir for 1 minute, until the asparagus begins to brown.

  5. Return the beef to the wok with Mekhala All-Natural Black Pepper Sauce and stir fry until the beef is cooked through but still tender.

  6. Spoon the cooked Energy Rice into 2 bowls and top with a generous serving of the Beef and Asparagus Black Pepper Stir Fry. Enjoy!
