1 Onion, minced
1 Carrot, finely shredded/chopped
1 Block of firm tofu
1/2 Cup of teriyaki sauce
1/8 Cup soy sauce
50 Wonton wrappers
Oil for frying and deep frying
Mekhala Sweet and Tangy Pineapple Sauce
Marinade tofu with teriyaki and soy sauce for 15 minutes. Crush the tofu with a ladle until crumbly.
Add 1 tbsp oil to a large frypan or wok over medium heat. Add chopped onion and stir fry minced carrot, onion, tofu and any excess sauce.
Carefully wrap up the wonton, using 1 tsp of filling wonton and placing them on a floured surface.
On medium-high heat, fry the wontons until both sides are lightly browned, set aside the finished wontons to cool, and dip in Mekhala Sweet and Tangy Pineapple Sauce to enjoy!
