Black Bean & Coconut Oil Brownies

So fudgy and decadent you wouldn't believe they are healthy!


1 1/2 Cups black beans

2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 Cup quick oats

1/4 tsp Mekhala Himalayan pink salt

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/3 Cup coconut syrup/honey/agave

1 Tbsp sugar

1/4 Cup melted Mekhala Organic Virgin Coconut Oil

1/2 Cup chocolate chips


1. Put all ingredients into a food processor and process until very smooth.

2. Pour batter into a greased and lined tin, and smooth it down well

3. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 175C for 15-18 minutes.

4. Let cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pan and slice as desired. Enjoy with a glass of milk or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
