Tom Yum Vegetarian Fried Rice


Vegetarian Tom Yum Ruby Rice, featuring one of our newest additions! We've had so many requests for a Mekhala Tom Yum Paste and we're so pleased that we're finally bringing it to you! Like every item in the Mekhala food range, it's a delicious, 100% natural product made with organic and quality ingredients, like Himalayan Pink Salt, and is also gluten-free and vegan!


(Serves 2-4 Persons)

2 Cups Mekhala Organic Ruby or Energy Rice

1 Tblspn Rice Bran Or Coconut Oil

1 Large Egg

1/2 Small Carrot, Diced

1 Cup Frozen Corn Kernels

150gm Snake Beans, Diced

2 Spring Onions, Sliced Finely

2 Tblspn Mekhala Tom Yum Paste


1. Cooked rice according to packet instructions.

2. Heat oil in a wok or fry pan over high heat.

3. Fry egg and push to one side of the pan.

4. Add vegetables and fry till mostly cooked, and mix egg through.

5. Fold rice into mixture and heat through.

6. Add Mekhala Tom Yum Paste and fry until all ingredients are cooked through.
