Yellow Curry Burgers With Pineapple Sweet Sour Sauce

We used Mekhala Yellow Curry Paste as a smoky marinade for these burger patties, which were perfectly complemented by the flavours of Mekhala Pineapple Sweet Sour Sauce. This recipe makes 4 large burgers or 10-12 adorable sliders that would make great party food!

Ingredients

(Makes 4 large burgers)

700g Minced meat of choice

2-3 Tbsp Mekhala Yellow Curry Paste

70g Bread or cracker crumbs

1 Egg

4 Hamburger buns

1 Onion, thinly sliced

1 Cucumber, thinly sliced

Handful salad leaves

Sliced red chilli (optional)

4 Tbsp Mekhala Pineapple Sweet Sour Sauce

Method

1. Mix meat, Mekhala Yellow Curry Paste, crumbs and egg, form into 4 patties and leave to marinate for 1 hour.

2. Pan fry or grill patties to your preference.

3. Assemble burgers and serve with extra Mekhala Pineapple Sweet Sour Sauce on the side.
