Come again? A snack that is quick, delicious AND good for you? That's right, look no further for the answer to your prayers. Simply flavoured with mineral-rich Himalayan Pink Salt and superfood Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, this popcorn recipe is our go-to for a guilt-free snack!
1/2 Cup popping corn
1.5 Tbsp Mekhala Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
Mekhala Himalayan Pink Salt
1. Place a large pot or wok over medium heat and add the Organic Virgin Coconut Oil.
2. Add a few corn kernels and wait for them to pop - when they do, the oil is hot enough.
3. Add the popping corn, shake to coat the kernels with the coconut oil, then cover with a tight-fitting lid.
4. When the corn starts popping, give it a good shake every 10 seconds or so. Once the popping slows down to one pop every 2-3 seconds, remove from the heat and shake continuously for 10-20 seconds.
5. Sprinkle Himalayan Pink Salt over popped corn, serve and enjoy!
